Town and Parish Council elections take place on Thursday 6 May 2021 for all the seats in the respective councils across Wiltshire and this includes Tilshead Parish Council.
At present there are 7 Councillors and if they want to continue representing Tilshead they will be submitting nomination forms to Wiltshire Council to meet the deadline of 4pm, 8th April. At this moment in time we know that 1 Councillor will be retiring.
On the 9th April 2021 Wiltshire Council will issue the “Publication of Statement of Persons Nominated” if the number of people nominated equals or is less than 7 then all are DEEMED ELECTED without a contest. If the number of nominations EXCEEDS 7 then there will be a Publication of the Notice of Poll and an Election for the candidates will take place on May 6th 2021.
