The Parish Council has received a limited supply of the sticker, shown above. If you would like one for your home, or know someone who may be interested, please contact the Chairman; or email the Content Administrator. NEW POST OFFICE FACILITIES
Post Office facilities will continue to be offered to the residents of Tilshead following the closure of the sub-Post Office run for many years by John and Rachel Smith.
The Post Office and The Rose and Crown Public House have reached an agreement to provide a Partner Service commencing in April 2008. Details were outlined at the Parish Council meeting on Tuesday 12 February, by Sharron Jennings and Ian Preece from the Post Office Network Change Team.
A wide range of products and services will be offered. See the list; and will be available during the Pub's opening hours. The Parish Council and the Management of The Rose and Crown will work closely together to ensure that any problems encountered can be solved quickly and efficiently. Further details will be posted here, on the Parish Council's Noticeboard and in the Tilshead Newsletter as soon as they become available.
The Parish Council and those present at the meeting gave a vote of thanks to John and Rachel Smith, for the long service given to the village.
