This is just a short email to let you know that plans for the felling of trees infected with Ash Dieback on MOD land bordering the A345 have now been finalised meaning work can commence from Tuesday 10 November. The work will start at the southern end of the A345 in Durrington and then move northward in sections, with the final section expected to be completed in early-mid February 2021. This work is necessary to remove dangerous trees and protect local communities.
As you are aware, some static and rolling road closures will be in place whilst the work is carried out to ensure your continued safety. Appropriate diversions will be clearly marked but road users should expect some delays and are advised to use an alternative route if possible. Further details of closures and diversions as they occur can be found on https://one.network/, with local signage in place around affected areas.
Once again, we apologise for any inconvenience these essential works may cause and thank you for your continued patience. If you have any questions or concerns, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0800 022 3334. Further information about Ash Dieback and the programme of work taking place on MOD land is available on gov.uk.
